Year 5
Science Oxford - Spring 2026
On 3rd February, Year 5 had an amazing day at Science Oxford. When they arrived, they were immediately immersed in activities that were fun packed and engaging.
The day consisted of three activities:
The Exploration Zone - With its air pipes, guess who, puzzles and challenges
The Theatre Show - Learning all about the mysteries of Science
The states of matter investigation - Where children worked in pairs to heat up various materials, while using their observational skills and understanding of change to predict what each material was.
All in all, great fun was had by all and the children even wrote thank you letters and created posters about their day for homework.
