Science Oxford trip - March 2025
Last week, Year 5 went to the Science Centre at Oxford for a fun trip. We had an amazing day consolidating our learning on light in an epic workshop, followed by activities within the Discovery Zone and the Think the Link workshop. Overall, it was an amazing, fulfilled day for everyone involved.
Anglo Saxon Day
Back in Autumn Term, Year 5 had an awesome workshop where they learned all about the Anglo-Saxons. They made clay candle pots, herbal remedies, water-colour initials, runes and candles.
In the afternoon, they even had a battle between the JUtes and the Angles.

Bah Humbug
In December, our amazing Year 5s performed their brilliant version of Charles Dicken's, 'A Christmas Carol.' The play, 'Bah Humbug' depicted Scrooge going from grumpy to kind Scrooge in one night!
