At TGMS, we are fortunate enough to have use of our own swimming pool, which is fully managed by our school's caretaker. The pool is 10 x 5 meters in size and 0.8 meters deep and has a 16-bather load. This, alongside its 31ºC temperature, makes it an ideal facility for group sessions for children Year 4 and below, and for individual or small-group swimming tuition for anybody. We have also invested in Ultraviolet (UV) water treatment for our pool, offering advantages such as being safer for swimmers (UV systems are effective against a wide range of microorganisms), and better water quality (reducing the chemical smell and impact of chlorine).

Our own teachers deliver excellent swimming lessons to our Year 3 pupils throughout the school year, ensuring they can swim a continuous 25 meters using various strokes and know how to safely get themselves out of trouble in the water. We also offer interventions for pupils in Years 4 and above who need extra support with learning to swim.
